Scarborough Fair

The Scarborough Fair took place in the town of Scarborough during Medieval times. The original charter was granted in 1253 by King Henry III which allowed the market to take place and gave the town many other privileges. The fair has been immortalised in the famous song of the same name, song by children all over the country.
